Celebration Powder (color powder) is a powder that is used to celebrate holidays, special events, festivals, religious ceremonies and sporting events. It is classified as a non-food item.
This product is inspired from an Indian cultural festival called Holi. Holi celebrates the beginning of the new season, spring. Originally, it was a festival that commemorated good harvests and the fertile land. Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying spring’s abundant colors and saying farewell to winter. During this event, participants hold a bonfire, throw colored powder at each other, and celebrate wildly. The colored powder used during Holi is referred to as Gulal and or Holi Powder.
The USA has embraced these celebrations of color events with enthusiasm and has incorporated color celebration in color themed races, fundraising activities, special events and sporting events. Celebration Powder produces “clouds of color” when tossed. The experience is memorable and the photos of the events are amazing.
